Start Point LightHouse

OPEN DATES – We plan to be open on the first Sunday of each month from April to the last open date on 6th September 2026.  You can check these dates for any last minute changes on the Trinity House website by clicking here.

TOUR TIMES – Guided tours will run on the hour, every hour from 11am to the last tour at 3pm.  Please make sure you leave enough time to walk down from the car park, we suggest around 20 minutes and booking is not necessary.

• As it is a working Lighthouse, Trinity House reserves the right to close the Lighthouse due to operational requirements and openings can be affected by adverse weather; both at short notice.

SAFETY NOTICE:

• ALL children must be at least 1.1m tall and physically capable of ascending and descending the stairs unaided and cannot be carried – this includes babies and toddlers.
• Suitable footwear must be worn, flip flops are not permitted (alternative footwear is available to borrow). Other restrictions may apply.
